We also included a set screw located in the handle so you can lock the head down in any position 0° to 360°. The jaws are steel, heat treated and then Teflon coated for years of dependable use. The jaws open when you pull the trigger and close when you let up on the trigger. There is no cocking mechanism on the back of the handle like a standard “hammer throw” release so this bowhunting release is extremely quiet.
